Being a hi school student

 Exams

My exams are coming up in the next two weeks. I'm really nervoeus, especially as I'm still not sure whether the Society and Environment is an all year exam or just on the semesters work. The english and maths exams are all year, but the science is just the semester, thank goodness, or I would have a lotof trouble. We have been doing chemistry and physics this term. hard. Last term we had this huge assessment called the petroleum club. The mark we got from it is worth 20% of our semesters mark. It was really boring but the best thing is that none of the assessment will be in the exam. We spent over a month on it. So that is one month's work that I dont have to study!

 Mobiles

my birthday has come and gone, and i did end up getting a mobile. it is a Nokia 3210 (yes i know it is a crap phone)(it weighs an absolute tonne [is that right?]) and i got it from my aunty, who lives in QLD. apparently it has just been sitting in thier cupboard for months on end.

PS:please excuse the spelling and punctuation errors, cuz i was just doing PE at school, and basically had to do the job of 3 people, as 2 of the people in my team were being lazy buggers and kept finding escuses to not play (the opposition is 2 tall, i'm thirsty, i need to ty up my shoelace etc. it was REALLY annoying)

PPS: remember SB? well, her sport shorts ripped while we were playing sport. she went over to pick up the basketball and *riiip*. i sort of feel sory 4 her, beause noone really likes her, she is a kind of loner. she has no proper friends. she has mild ADD or something, so that might be it. i only found that out a couple of weeks ago

 Bored on the internet

I am soooo totally bored out of my brain. My family's home computer has a really slow internet connection cuz our computer is almost 5 years old and it cannot handle fast internet. And to top it off, my dad is downloading something for Microsoft Word so it going twice as slow and it is really getting on my nerves.

Anyway, my birthday is coming up and I am hoping that I get a mobile. I have wanted one for ages and ages. I was gonna buy a second-hand one but my mum told me not to because she said that I might be getting a surprise for my birthday. So I am trying not to get my hopes up too much in case I don't get one and have to spend my life safings ( Australian $260). I don't really want to spen that much on a mobile, though, even if it lasts me for years to come.

 heavy stuff

In lunch time today, two of my friends, (lets call them SB and Anna) had this big screaming match. Because SB said to Haley (another friend) to stop talking about boys. (Haley does that often). When I saw Hayley, she was running away from the lockers (this is where it all happened). Anyway, Anna started yelling at SB, "How dare you make Haley cry!" and she used some pretty colourful language, too. Then the screaming match started and Anna took SB's book, and, while in the process of getting the book back, SB hurt Anna pretty bad.

I am trying to be nuetral with all of this, but it is very hard. They have hated each other for as long as I have known them, and it is extremely difficult. I am just totally sick of them going off at each other all the time.

So anyway, I just needed to get this off my chest.

PS: Please don't think that all of my friends are this, umm whats the word? Dramatic. This is just a few of them, not that I am trying to brag or anything.

PPS: The abouve reasons are exactly why i go to Guides. Sometimes I just need to be with people who don't go to my school, and who I don't see everyday.

PPPS: Thank goodness the holidays start on Saturday

 Society and Environment

Well, here I am, in the library. I have run out of choir, to do my SOSE (society and environment) assessment. So I have the song "And So It Goes" in my head. I really should be doing the assessment, but I got bored (It is an assessment on orangutans). so yeah, that's my excuse.

See you later, the library people are looking at me strange,  so I think I might go back to my work now.

P.S: Don't ever expect me to write a lot in these messages.

P.P.S: If any one has any comments about orangutans and whether or not to continue taking their habitat for wood and agriculture, comment.
